As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Tom, manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Tom has expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to bone grafting procedures. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. We can also diagnose and treat oral lesions and cysts, dental trauma and jaw fractures, and many TMJ disorders that cause jaw and facial pain.
Bay Area Oral and Facial Surgery has the latest in digital radiographic technology. This provides the doctors with the most accurate and clear information from the radiographic studies while exposing the patients to the lowest radiation. The office has both panoramic radiograph machine and cone beam CT machine to provide both two dimensional and three dimensional radiographic studies to serve the patients.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Bay Area Oral & Facial Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of IV sedation and surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified. The front desk staff members are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in dental insurance policies and claims.
